Although, I expected the waiting time to be at least an hour or 2 for the first few days of the BF3 beta, so I guess its not too bad.

I was expecting a long wait as well...  Seriously 30 min isn't bad considering.

well, no such luck with EA live chat. apparently my comcast email address i have used since BF2 first came out does not exist on EA records. I asked them if they could look up my info if i gave them my serial code (because i registered the game) or my in game name. nope. I was told the same thing they told me on the phone. go buy another copy and start over.  this is the actual conversation

Wow, thats pretty shit.

Yesterday I had to update Marcinko's EA account as he had an old email attached to it. Good news there is that I/We knew the pw. So changing the email isn't the hard part.

Ya know what Krazee, try again today with someone on live chat. Seriously, give it a go.  And also ask if you can speak to a supervisor and go higher up if need be until you get the results you want. :) worth a shot.

Is that the krazeeyt@gmail.com the account you signed into the EA live chat with, and if so, is the gmail address linked to your EA account?
if you havent already might be worth trying to sign into BC2 using the gmail account as the username.
Not sure if its possible that the email address for your EA account log-in has been changed though.. :/

i've tried that also. when i do that it asks for the cd serial key. i put mine in and of course it says its already in use.

I'm not sure what else to suggest
I looked around for info on the issue and cant find anything that might help. The only issue that's remotely linked (and then only by asking for the serial key) is caused by EA banning 'unlicensed' keys. Which doesn't seem to be the problem here, as they would still have your email address and would be able to tell you what the issue was.

Maybe their suggestion of re installing the game causes some magical fix to happen.. :/

i tried uninstalling and re-installing the game to no avail. what i might do now that i have exhausted all my ideas and took all of your ideas into hard consideration (thank you to all of you who helped try to figure this out) is to possibly down the road buy another copy and use my current origin screen name and start over. BF3 is going to have me occupied for the time being but i did enjoy BC2.
