Well, it happened. We finally burnt out on CODWAW. Our server sat idle for weeks at a time with not even so much as a noob crew popping in to sharpen or gain skills.

We found that a few members had begun to migrate back to BF2. The expansion pack maps are included with the newest (1.5) patch, a nice touch even though it`s a bit late in the game.

In regards to the above, we decided to drop the under utilized CODWAW server and for the short term, again run a ranked BF2 server. We hope to see many of our members and friends rejoin us in fragging...}AR{ style!

Update:
No plans to run any particular server in the near future. We do hope to get a few member reviews on new games in the following months and hopefully we can find something that suits }AR{.

Apparently winter is not the only season for hibernation. Members of the famed }AR{ clan have gone missing. Upon further investigation, it seems they have gone into summer hibernation from the gaming scene as fairly comfortable summer weather has kept them away from the computer desk.

This new site has been an ambition for some time. Our site has used PHP-Nuke for much of its existence. Nuke provides a lot of functionality. However, it has a lot of bloat as well. It is bulky and can be cumbersome to add new content. Therefore, we have moved to the e107 system as our base. It is easier to maintain and a much more lightweight alternative to PHP-Nuke, yet seems to be much more powerful content-wise. If you have any issues on the site, please let us know!
